34th Sunday in Ordinary Time The Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ the King

Today we celebrate the thirty forth Sunday in Ordinary Time – the feast of Christ the King. This is the last Sunday of the Liturgical Year 2012. The whole Liturgy and especially the Gospel speaks of the kingship of Christ. He is our Lord and Master, He is our King. He was born and he lived to testify to the truth and this feast of Christ the King reminds us that each of us was born for the same reason: to testify to the truth. And what is the truth?  Jesus Christ is the Truth. We need to recognize the fields of our life: where Jesus is the King who rules our lives and the fields where is not place for Him. We have to open these fields of our privacy for His beneficial grace. And give to him Thanks.

The Eucharist is the great Thanksgiving to God by Jesus Christ for our salvation. On Sunday after the Feast of Thanksgiving we thank to God our Father through Jesus Christ our King and Lord, to our family, to our friends and any people who stay on our earthly way.

The all visitors were very glad about the dinner. They see our Church as a friendly community. I think that God first of all helps all people who are praying and working together for His Holy Church.

¨       The November was the month of the prayer and remembrance for our departed brothers and sisters. My Thank You to all of the people who remember of the deceased from your Family and Friends in the Remembrances (Wypominki) 2012 and for all your donations. The prayer is the big help for them. Also the reminder for us that we are not alone in the cosmos. God bless you.

¨       Do you have anyone of any reason (for example: someone in Hospital) or life event you would like to pray for – Please ask and see Fr. Andrew.

¨       My source of power in prayer is the Vine. If I am the branches abiding in Christ, He will supply the power. (Andrew Murray – Treasures of Wisdom)
