Today we celebrate the 14th Sunday in Ordinary Time and we celebrated the Independence Day on past Saturday.
The Ordinary Time is the period of the year in which we are looking on the life of Jesus from our own perspective. We have the problems and we are looking in the Gospel – the Good News for some kind of help and a solution of our problems. This Sunday gives us the example of Nazareth’s people unbelieving in Jesus and His power to do miracles in their own lives. The familiar of Jesus and the closeness with the Church leads us to be in a rut.
We have to seek in each Eucharist, especially in todays, the new ways for our daily lives. We have to look for the newness of our faith to be glad and elated.
