27th SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

mariageToday we celebrate the 27th Sunday in Ordinary Time. This Sunday focuses on problems of divorce and marriage. We meet these problems very often in our lives or in the lives of our friends. We see the difficulty of people’s lives, when they don’t love themselves and their children.

We call the Family the first Church, because it is the first place where we start to praise the Lord our Father and we put the first steps on the way to our salvation. When this first Church is collapsing by divorce or some other problems our spiritual life starts to fall and we feel as the ship without a port.

The Eucharist is the background of our personal relations to God and to our neighbors. Here and now we find help for our daily problems in existence of our family, here and now we regenerate ourselves to the real love – the sacrificial one.

Announcements

  •  49th Annual Fells Point Fun Festival will take place on Oct. 24-25, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Please find the time for you to engage in it. We will start our setting up at 8:30 am on Sat.
  • Do you have anyone of any reason or life event you would like to pray for – Please see Fr. Andrew.
  • We now start organized the Flea Market before our Church – at Fells Point Fun Festival (first weekend of October). If you have some things for it please bring it to the Parish Hall. Really thank you for it. Everyone is welcomed for the work and the help for this reason.
  • Really thank you for the things you brought for the Yard Sale and for your donations. God bless you.
  • As the members of our Church we are responsible for our past and future and we will pray and look for new active members of our Community of Holy Cross Church in Baltimore, MD.
  • On Saturday Oct. 17, 2015 at 1:00 PM the Seniorate Meeting will held in Reading, PA.
