THE SOLEMNITY OF THE MOST HOLY BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST – CORPUS CHRISTI

bozecialo2016Today we celebrate the solemnity of the most holy Body and Blood of Christ – popular we call it by Latin words the Corpus Christi what means the Body of Christ. When we come every Sunday for the Mass we can be sure that this is the real meeting with our Savior Jesus Christ. We meet Him double: in the community of believers – in the Body of the Church and we meet Him in the Holy Communion in His Holy Body and Blood.

Jesus did this in order to be with us always that we will be aware of his presence in our daily lives. He reminds us that he is so close to us as the simple food which is bread and wine. We have to became the same as Christ the food for others. By our Christian’s attitude and words we have to become the good food for all our neighbors in our surroundings.

Let us today approach the Holy Mass with a more lively faith in the real presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist and after this we shall experience therein God’s saving power and transforming love.
