Today we celebrate the Solemnity of All Saints.
This great Feast of All Saints evokes the memories of the countless women and men of faith who abide with the Lord for all eternity. This feast also challenges us to live our lives both with our sights set on the good things that await us in heaven, and with determination to make a positive difference in the lives of the poor and less fortunate. May the light of the Lord shine through us all.
Today we pray also for our departed parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends to help them for their salvation – and we will do that on All souls Day service on Cemetery. Today we want to honor the two sides of the Church – first the Church Triumphant that’s mean – All Saints and second – the Church suffering – departed who still wait on our prayers. We know that only Jesus Christ can redeem them, and we pray with the deepest respect to Him and with assistance of our Saints in heaven.
The Eucharist which we now celebrate is the great remembrance of our Lord Jesus Christ. He died, he rose and he lives now. We will be in the same situation as He when we only believe and come to Him.
