Today we celebrate the 4th Sunday of Lent. This time of joyful preparation for the feast of Easter focuses our eyes on the spirit of repentance. We all are the sinners, maybe sometimes we look nicer from outside, than others, but in the examination of our conscience we can find our real sins. We need to stand in humility before ourselves and says to God: “Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you; I no longer deserve to be called your son”. But these words have to be first of all accepted by ourselves. And be the first sign of our conversion to God.
The Eucharist is the time when we stand before our God the Father and say that we are sinners. We find in that meeting the echo of the parable of the prodigal son – and we see the image of both sons in our own manners. We have only to find the short way to our Father and immediately be with Him in His house.

Announcements
- In the Lent season we learn more about the power of fasting, praying and almsgiving. These are three great works of charity which can help us to prepare ourselves for Resurrection of our Lord and our own resurrection.
- On Palm Sunday Apr. 10, 2022 we will have the Polish Easter Food Sale in our Hall from 12pm till 5pm. Follow us on Facebook.
- All people who want to help cook Golabki and powder Chrusciki before Easter Sale we invite them on Saturday – April 9, 2022 at 10am.
- It is best, therefore, to let the psychological conscience alone when we are at prayer. The less we tinker with it the better. The reason why so many religious people believe they cannot meditate is that they think meditation consists in having religious emotions, thoughts, or affections of which one is, oneself, acutely aware. Welcome Our Visitors
One Main Point
Like the father in this parable, God has given each of us so much including the freedom to choose our own life, and He always knows us as His sons and daughters. When we have been on a wrong path and chosen to come back, He has no judgment of what we have done, and is always glad to take us back with love.
Reflection
- Seeing how the lost son found the way out for his own life, when facing an undesired situation how can I be present to my own mistake, so I can clearly see myself in my relationship with God and others? What am I to do, to put my life back to where it belongs so I no longer have to struggle?
