3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time

Today we celebrate the 3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time. Whole this period between Christmas and Lent gave us the History of Salvation in which Jesus Christ started his mission on the earth as the Messiah. We remember this History in each Sunday of this period. Today we look at the fact that Jesus started his ministry in Galilee in the land from which Messiah has to come according to the prophet Isaiah. Jesus call his first apostles there. We know the power of the ministry of Christ because it continues for 20 centuries and is growing. We can participate in this ministry when we work together with others like the whole Body of Christ – that’s mean the Church.

In the Church the Eucharist is the strong power for our daily lives. It helps us to be good standing Disciples of Christ in the world around us. We can use this power of Holy Mass knowingly when we understand what we are doing in the Church during the Holy Liturgy.

“Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.’

BUILDING THE KINGDOM OF GOD TOGETHER WITH CHRIST

Reflections

The Church is the Kingdom of God now. How do I feel about the Church? In the concept of ministry and mission, what have I contributed in building the Church?
