Today we celebrate the Ascension Sunday and also today we have a special opportunity to celebrate the First Holy Communion of our small parishioner Nina Josephine Hall and the Baptism of her brother Roman Mikhail Ahmed.
This is the great event for our small Parish, because we do it again /the life of Sacraments in our Community.
The sacrament of the Holy Eucharist is a sacrifice where the Church not only remembers Jesus, but really brings Him to small children on their way to salvation/ today in a special way to Nina. It is the big step on her earthly journey because she will receive Jesus to her heart.
Therefore, we as the older members of the Church have to help her to be faithful to our Master and Lord Jesus Christ.
“This is my body…”

Reflections
1 When I receive the Holy Communion, is it the flesh and blood of Christ? What makes I believe so?
2 I eat and drink everyday to live. What do I consume to lead me to the eternal life?
