Today we celebrate the 3rd Sunday of Lent. The Lent season is the time when we realize by our deeds of repentance and the deepest prayer that we are lucky, because nothing bad happened to us. We see in our surroundings that some misfortune or disaster happened to the other people like war in Ukraine or Israel.
The Eucharist is the great prayer of thanksgiving to God for His loving care. When we realize that God is really our good Father who gives us the only good things in our lives we have to go before His face and give Him thanks. It is not so difficult; We have to find the proper time, good clothes and be in the Church on time for that special service.

“It may bear fruit in the future.”

One Main Point
What took place in Galilee and at Siloam were not judgments of God. But a severe judgment lies ahead for another place, Jerusalem, where God established a dwelling place among the chosen people.
Reflections
- Am I so often focused on the evils to be uprooted that I neglect the need for personal reform as well?
- If I learned that I will die tomorrow, what is the one thing that I would have done differently? How hard would it be for me to do that every day?
