For forty days of Lent season we have been preparing, by works of charity and self-sacrifices, for the celebration of our Lord’s Paschal Mystery. Today we celebrate the Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion the first day of the Holy Week and Easter Celebration of 2025.
On this day the Church celebrates Christ’s entrance into Jerusalem to accomplish his Paschal Mystery. Accordingly, the memorial of this event is included in every Eucharist with the procession or the solemn entrance before the Holy Mass.
By Palm Sunday we praise our Lord Jesus Christ, we call him Holy Son of David and King of Israel. We give him the worship of God to make Him equal with God Creator for his work of our Salvation.
We will hear now the Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ according to St. Luke with his concern of the poor in spirit, as a doctor with his medical details and special picture of Jesus as a Man. We have to find ourselves in that story of salvation because our sinful attitude is the purpose of this event, and our own role is very important in the whole economy of Salvation.

Meditate Station of the Cross this week:
11. Jesus is Nailed to the Cross – Jesus, keep me close to you from this moment until I die.
12. Jesus dies on the Cross – Jesus be with me when I die and take me to home.
